Our goal is to create an environment in which children can freely explore, experience and learn through guided play to:

• Share experiences with other children and adults
• Build feelings of confidence and security
• Recognize and handle feelings of hostility and anger.

In order to achieve these goals, we need to:

• Recognize each child's uniqueness
• Accept them as they are
• Have confidence in their growth and development processes
• Make available the equipment and supplies that meet his or her physical and emotional needs.
