What does a typical day at a Co-Op look like?

The school day begins with indoor/outdoor playtime (weather permitting). The students kick balls, play with hula hoops, complete obstacle courses, and play fun games such as red light green light. They can venture inside to explore with building toys and puzzles at the tables.

Next, students participate in circle time where they sing songs, participate in calendar, and practice letters, shapes, and colors. After washing hands students have a snack which is brought from home (students are safely spaced during eating times).

After snack students head to outside playtime in the big play-yard. They dig for treasure in the sand, swing, ride bikes and chase bubbles. When they return to the classroom students participate in enrichment activities which include crafts, stories, Spanish, science experiments and more.

For the remainder of the day, students return to outside play for more games and fun and can have another snack before pick-up.
